Worship is at the center of our identity as faith communities. Coming together on Sunday mornings - whether in-person or digitally - reminds us who we are and whose we are. We praise and make music together; we share our faith journeys and our prayers; we hear the challenge to bring God’s Word to life, in our own lives, and in our communities. We recognize that each person who participates in worship carries a unique “God signature” which blesses everyone. Come and see!
Sunday Worship is a "hybrid" service (both in-person and digital) at 10:30 am. The in-person service is held in the sanctuary of Katonah UMC, except for the first Sunday of each month, when the in-person service is held in the sanctuary of Purdys UMC.
Nursery care is offered during worship.
Worship During COVID
In order to adhere to the first of the three General Rules of Methodism, "Do no harm," we ask those who attend in person to please consider wearing a mask. We have a special seating area in our sanctuaries for those who want to sit with other masked persons only, and another seating area where masks are optional. If you choose to attend via Zoom, see below for information on how to do so.
The Purdys church building has an entrance ramp and an accessible bathroom.
The Katonah church building has a ramp as well as a doorbell. In the Katonah location, there are assistive listening devices and large print materials, as well as an accessible bathroom.
