Sermon: “Faces of Our Faith: Anna"
This Sunday's sermon continues the "Faces of Our Faith" series with the story of Anna, an 84-year-old widow and prophet living in the temple who recognized that the infant Jesus had a special mission of redemption. Artist Lisle Gwynn Garrity, who created this image, says, "When drawing this image, I referenced photographs of Mother Teresa because I imagine her, like Anna a few
centuries before, having eyes for the divine and devoting her entire life to pointing it out for others. "
